Mahé
Anse a la mouche - Situated on the south west coast of Mahé, this beautiful beach have fine white sands and also crystal, clear shallow water. Ideal for snorkelling and wind surfing as it is always windy... Accessible by feet, boat & vehicles.

Anse L'Amour - Port launay - A small hidden white beach. With clear blue water and ideal for swimming, snorkelling and picnic, this small piece of heaven is well hidden for a private time with your loved one. Accessible by feet, boat & vehicles. |

Barbarons - Not really ideal for swimming but extremely ideal for wind surfing, picnics. The fine white sandy beach is what you need for a good relaxation. Accessible by feet. |

Anse Takamaka - Situated in a peaceful atmosphere under many Alexandrian laurel trees (Takamaka tree). Ideal for snorkelling but attention should be paid to strong current and south east trade winds from May to September. |

Anse Forbans - Located in the south east coast of Mahé, this piece of beauty is found in a quiet bay. It's the perfect place to go swimming because of the calm and shallow water. |

Anse Royal - The coral reefs protect this two mile long beach, ideal for swimming and snorkelling right out to the small island nearby which is souris island. |

N:B - All the islands of the Seychelles are surrounded by beaches and around the islands, there are many small beaches with fine, white sands. If you want peace or you are cruising the island at your own pace, you can always stop on a small beach and spend an unforgettable day without any disturbance.
Everywhere you will stop, you can have a swim but look out for the "no swimming sign" Places where swimming is not allowed are Takamaka, Barbarons, Grand Anse, and where there are lots of current like at Intendance. |
