There are altogether 41Bareboats, 10 charter cruises and 9 luxury yacht chartering companies in the Seychelles.
The Seychelles islands are positioned about only 4 - 10° south of the equator. These splendid sparkling Islands and Islets are distributed all over across the Indian Ocean, which made the Seychelles islands an ideal place to charter a yacht and cruise in the sunset of paradise either for two in a romantic atmosphere or just cruising between friends or families.
In the Seychelles, there are many options if you want to experience the work of nature and the never ending dream which is coming true. One option in your hand is the yacht charting.
As always; there are many reasons why yacht enthusiasts are drawn to the Seychelles all year round. The perfect white sandy beaches, sparkling lagoons and superb coral reefs, are among some of the reasons why this is one of the most unique yacht charter destinations in the world. The main reason also is that Seychelles is one of the rarest spot on earth where there is no pollution either on land, in the air, or at sea.
Seychelles offers all types of yacht charters such as the “bare boat charters” which are either monohull, catamaran, or motor yacht. These are for experience skippers (proof may be required) For the rest of us there are also the “crewed yacht charters” which include the monohull and the catamaran and last but not least is the “luxury yacht charters”
The charter seasons in the Seychelles varies, with the three types of seasons which are Low season which start from May to July. High season which start from February to April and Medium season which is from August till December.
Although we have those three types of season which are appropriate for yacht charting, we have only two types of climate seasons in general which are the south west trade wind and the north east monsoon. Like in April and May, it is mostly sunny or hot. Its perfect for tanning and giving color to your body. During the month of August, it is mostly chilled and the air is more cooler. Cooling on the deck of a yacht makes you fill that you are in paradise. But however, during the month of December till end of January, it is generally wet and cold (minimum temperature in the Seychelles is 24 degrees Celsius) . The Seychelles islands are located in the anticyclone belt where there are no hurricanes and wind rarely exceed the speed limit of 50 knots which make it more ideal for cruising. |
