The local currency in Seychelles is Seychelles Rupee (SR) which is divided into 100 cents.   Paper notes are in denominations of SR10, SR25, SR50, SR100 and SR500. Coins are 1 and 5 SR as well as 1, 5, 10 and 25 cents. Victoria offers great ranges of banks for exchange of money foreign currency can be exchanged at the airport banks. Traveller’s cheques are widely accepted by banks.
